Hmmm. Good question. This is my Plinky question of the day. It got the writing juices flowing within me this morning so I just figured I’d type out what my mind is thinking at the moment.
So, what IS at the end of my rainbow? I’d say peace of mind, I guess. What does that mean? Well, you see, there lies the dilemma. Do I mean I am at peace within my psyche at a particular point in my life? Even through the chaos? Or do I mean AFTER I acquire certain…things in life?
Many would go with the latter rather than the former. I would HOPE to go with the former myself. The thing is my own definition of ‘peace of mind’ keeps changing. It seems to do that on a rather consistent basis. Kind of annoying if you ask me. Lol.
This beautiful image that I borrowed for the day describes my current rainbow currently. It’s an array of beautiful colors. Not really in any particular pattern. Just present. A bit chaotic but still beautiful. No general purpose whatsoever. There lies yet another dilemma.
I need to gain a bit more clarity. Now WHERE have you heard THAT from?! Yes, I’ve said it many a times before. Even when I supposedly reached a state of clarity in the past, I always find myself back to a state of confusion and panic. Things stay clear for as long as they are meant to be. Then a change in the season of life begins and clarity must once again be reached and maintained. It’s a constant work in progress. My FAVORITE phrase – WORK IN PROGRESS!
I still have my end game in mind. I still aspire to be the booming travel and leisure photographer who loves to eat everywhere she goes and sails to wherever she chooses. That is still VERY clear in my mind. True, there are other aspects of that vision. That is the meat and potatoes of it though. It WILL happen. In the meantime, I need to continue to work on my short and mid term goals. Hmmm…now WHAT are THOSE?!
Yes…TONS of work to be done. Getting on that as soon as I get my head out of my a$$ and my a$$ out of my feelings.
