I noticed something very interesting today. I’m not sure why I never noticed it before. It is something that got me to thinking that’s for sure.
For those of you that do not know, I was in the military many years back. I, of course, shot my M16 assault rifle during that time. The eye that I used to aim and find my target was my right. I believe that is typical of right handed folks.
I am also a photographer. I have been taking photos for years. So why is it that today I notice that I look into the viewfinder with my left eye? Yes, I take photos using my left eye instead of my right. Why is that?
My mind conjured up a bunch of stuff as to why this is. One thing in particular was that my right eye is my ‘killing’ eye and my left eye is my ‘creative’ eye. If I want to destroy then my right eye is the one to go to. If I want to create then it’s my left. This is the only path where my mind went today. Tomorrow may be a different story.
So the next time you talk to me just be mindful of which eye is giving you ‘the look’. Just a thought. Lol.
