Here I go again…letting too much time pass between posts. Yet again, there is TONS of stuff that I’ve done since my last post. Sigh. Let’s see what I can remember. Y’all know I’m getting old ova here! Lol.
My last post was the day before my trip to upstate NY. I was meeting my Grandmother so we can make our drive to Kansas City for my brother’s wedding. We made the trip. A bit stressful at times. Especially going through Ohio. The construction was ridiculous. Man! Moving on…
Kansas City was the same. Slow. Lol. I only got to hang out with three people the short time that I was there. Good times! I also got to enjoy some KC BBQ while I was there. Satisfied! Then there was the wedding. Beautiful! My little brother is a husband now. Freaky! Lol. I have a new sister-in-law. Awesome! Then it was back to DC for work. Exhausted!
This past week I’ve been kicking ass at my new gig or so my boss has been saying. I really like it there. The concept is great and I believe in what they’re about and what they’re doing. It’s a good feeling to be a part of innovation. The start of something grand. A good feeling indeed.
I really need to feel that way about my OWN stuff. Wait…I DO! My stuff makes me happy. It always has. It just doesn’t make me any money. It’s not meant to the way I have it set up. Oh well. I’ll continue to do it for the simple fact that it makes me happy. That’s what’s important to me at the moment.
In the meantime, I’m living the freelancer life!
