I‘ve just been hiding out and keeping quiet for a while. No worries. Nothing bad has happened. No serious turmoil to report. A few down days but that comes with the territory, especially with me. As I’ve stated before, my current situation is way too hard for me to swallow.
I have been getting out of the house. Not as much as I’d like but I’m still getting out there. At least two times a week for dance. Seriously, I don’t know what I’d do without dancing. I’ve also been going on a few photo walks. I can tell you that they brighten my mood a ton. Getting out there with my camera has been great. Ooo, and the weather is getting warmer as the days go on! Yup yup! 🙂
So far I’ve only been on two photo walks. One per week so this is a pretty recent venture. You may be asking where the photos are. Still on my hard drive. Lol. I probably will not post them any time soon. One, I don’t really like them. Two, I feel as though I need to hone my skills once again before I start displaying my work. I haven’t really been shooting for me the past two years. I’ve been shooting for someone else. True, doing that helped me in more ways than one. I also allowed it to hinder me from shooting the way that I like. Big no-no.
I need to log more hours towards my 10,000 anyway. That way I know that I can be unstoppable (in my own mind) when it comes to my craft. Practice makes perfect is a VERY true statement!
