I am very excited about this image. It’s because of the railroad tracks themselves. I live in a city that’s full of tracks. The challenge is finding some that are (1) easily accessible, and (2) legal to be on. I don’t believe the WMATA appreciates it too much if patrons are always on their tracks. I found two locations that looked like both the before mentioned options were met. This shot is of the second location that I found.
I got a ton of shots. Mostly they were from up above. I do like my bird’s eye view shots. I did find a way on the tracks though. This shot was the only one I took down there. That was it. I was pretty satisfied with it. After that, I went home giddy as ever. It was a good day.
Other than the railroad tracks that I took, I really did not get out with my camera in the month of May. I was busy with other photo jobs but mostly I just had a really off month in general.
June is looking up. I’ve already had a very successful day out in the city. Some good images were taken. Now I just have to sift through them. I’m curious to see which one I pick for next month…..
