This display of orchids put a smile on my face today as I was doing a little shopping at Trader Joe’s. Orchids happen to be my favorite flower. They are just too adorable to me in any shape or color that they are in. This photo I snapped does not do them justice.
I had a great day today. Even though a few things were a bit annoying, like my car having no AC, I found numerous things to smile at.
~ A Hyundai Sonata with MD tags sporting a NY Jets license frame.
~ Three songs that I enjoy playing in a row on the radio.
~ Finding a very comfortable and cute pair of wedges.
~ Completing a ton of items on my to-do list.
~ The sun shining on my face.
~ My day flowing by with ease.
After a little trip to the grocery, I came home and rewarded myself with a chocolate brownie topped with many scoops of chocolate ice cream. YUM! I didn’t have time to snap a pic of that. Devoured it with a quickness. Lol.
My nightcap is a few chapters of my current book I’m reading, Memoirs of a Geisha. This is a great way to wind down an active day.
