I am a little irritated today. Not really sure why. I have the day off so I’m pretty much just relaxing a bit. It could be a number of different things piled into one big old shit hill.
I tend to hold a lot of things in. Believe me…I know this is NOT healthy. Old habits die hard and this one has been a work in progress for some time. I’ve actually been a lot better with this issue of mine.
Everything that is held in deals with me and me only. If an issue involves someone else I normally call it out right then and there. How else are they going to know? This could be something that irritated me, made me extremely happy or anything else in between. I would expect the same.
I have been accused many a time of not getting the other person or missing some kind of queue. Pretty much I was accused of playing dumb. Ok so my question is always “Well did you tell me what you wanted?” The answer is normally “No” followed by “Well you should have known.” I always have to laugh at this.
I am not a mind reader. If I was I’d be a very rich woman. I guess one of the issues is that a lot of people really do not know what they want. They hope that someone else can tell them what they want or that they magically know this information like some oracle. So sorry…I have my own crap to sort through.
If you want something VOICE it! Let it be known! Otherwise how else will anyone else know what it is that you want? This seems like a no brainer but it still escapes a lot of people. Communication! That word has been thrown around here a lot lately. Probably because it’s important.
